Privacy Policy

FLOW · Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE PLACEHOLDER]

FLOW is a browser-based network-routing game. This page explains, in plain language, what data FLOW stores and why. It is a template intended for editing and legal review — see the notice at the bottom of this page.

Guest identity

FLOW has no accounts and no login. The first time you visit, your browser or device generates a random player ID and a private player secret, both stored locally (e.g. in browser localStorage, or the equivalent app-local storage in a native build). The player secret is never shown on screen and is only ever sent to our own server to verify that a score or profile change is coming from the same device that first created that player ID.

What we store on our server

What may be shown publicly

Your chosen display name and your scores may appear on public leaderboards (global, Daily Challenge, Weekly). Your player ID and player secret are never displayed publicly.

Flow Credits and cosmetics

Flow Credits are a virtual, in-game currency earned by playing. Cosmetic items unlocked with Flow Credits are purely visual and do not affect gameplay, scoring, or leaderboard ranking. As of this version, FLOW does not sell Flow Credits or cosmetics for real money.

Advertising and purchases

The current version of FLOW does not show ads and does not offer in-app purchases. It does not use third-party login (e.g. Sign in with Apple/Google). If this changes in a future version, this page will be updated before that version is released.

Server logs

Like most web services, our server infrastructure may keep standard operational logs (e.g. request timing, error logs) for security, abuse prevention, and reliability purposes.

Data sale

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Data deletion

See our Data Deletion page for how to request removal of your display name, scores, and progression data associated with a player ID.
