Delete Data / Data Request

FLOW

FLOW has no accounts, so there is nothing to "log out" of — but server-side data tied to your player ID (display name, scores, Flow Credits, cosmetics) can be deleted on request.

Local device/browser data

The fastest way to remove FLOW's data from a specific device or browser is to clear that browser or app's local site data (in a browser: clear site data/cookies for flowgridgame.com; in a future native app: clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app). This removes your local player ID and player secret from that device immediately — future visits will generate a new, unrelated identity.

Requesting server-side deletion

To request deletion of the display name, scores, and progression data associated with a specific player ID on our server, email support@flowgridgame.com with:

  1. Your player ID (find this via in-game support/debug info, if available, or describe how to locate it and we'll help).
  2. A short note confirming you want your associated data deleted.

We currently handle these requests manually — there is no self-service deletion button in the app yet. We aim to process requests promptly, but this is a placeholder workflow, not an automated data-deletion pipeline.

What deletion covers

A processed request removes the display name, run/score history, Flow Credits wallet, and cosmetic ownership/selection tied to the player ID you provide. It does not retroactively remove already-aggregated, non-identifying statistics (if any exist), and it cannot undo public leaderboard visibility that occurred before the request was processed.

Legal review required. This page describes a manual, best-effort data-request workflow as it exists today. It is not a claim of automated compliance with any specific data protection regulation, and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before this app is submitted to any app store or opened to the general public at scale.
